Aitkin

Aitkin is a charming, northern river community with parks, unique shopping and access to many excellent fishing and recreational waters. Historically, Aitkin was a Mississippi River transportation hub, with vigorous steamboat and rail traffic. Aitkin's Depot and Log Museums contain many artifacts and displays of its local heritage.
