Lake Bemidji State Park

This is the perfect playground any time of year, offering visitors swimming, boating, fishing, bird watching, hiking, camping, biking, picnicking, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and year-round naturalist-led activities. Not on the Great River Road proper, Bemidji State Park is right on the shores of beautiful Lake Bemidji, just a few miles off the beaten path and well worth the visit.
