Little Falls

This river town was developed in the 1800s as an industrial community because of the power available from the falls Lumbering became big business, and subsequently very large mills were built in the area. The Charles A. Lindbergh State Park is located on the west bank of the Mississippi River within the city limits. Across the road from the state park is Lindbergh's boyhood home and history center dedicated to this famous aviator. Nearby is the Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Museum of local history, the Minnesota Fishing Museum and a charming downtown.
