St. Cloud
St. Cloud offers a unique perspective on Minnesota in many ways — from its rich granite deposits to its tremendous growth as a regional urban center. Following the Mississippi River's wide current, St. Cloud and its surrounding communities are up along its banks within an hour of bustling Minneapolis and St. Paul. While in St. Cloud, make sure to plan a stop at the Munsinger and Clemens Gardens which grow on more than 80 scenic acres along the river, and the Stearns History Museum.
