Winona is the largest Mississippi River city in Minnesota, south of Saint Paul. With recreation, natural beauty, historic architecture and fine hospitality, this picturesque community is home to several museums, central to five state parks, two national wildlife and fish refuges and contains many municipal parks throughout. Boating, biking, birding and hiking, spectacular views from soaring river bluffs, camping, fishing and more are right at your doorstep in Winona. Visitors can cross the Mississippi River to Fountain City, Wisconsin from Winona.
